It is alleged that three children were sexually abused by Patchogue resident Angel Tacuri at separate times between 2010 and 2015 when the girls were between the ages of 3 and 8 and being cared for by his wife.
Suffolk County Police investigators said that the three children came forward after Tacuri was arrested in January on charges that include criminal sexual act and sexual abuse for an incident involving a 7-year-old girl in 2010.
Tacuri, age 52, was charged with:
- Two counts of first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child;
- First-degree sexual abuse;
- Three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Tacuri is being held and is scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Central Islip on Thursday, June 3.
Police noted that the investigation into Tacuri is ongoing. Anyone who believes they may have been one of his victims has been urged to contact the Suffolk County Police Department’s Special Victims Section at (631) 852-6531.
